OA has three nursery schools, teaching over 130 children ages 3 to 6. Overall, we’re cheered by the excitement these young ones display—singing, dancing, counting, and so much more. Unlike other nursery schools, OA schools teach children to read and write so that by the time they enter primary school, they’ve already built a firm, educational foundation.
The Chimbuya Nursery School serves some of the poorest children in the community. Students receive instruction and porridge every day, plus medical insurance. There are plans in the works to build a new classroom and fenced courtyard for these children, plus playground equipment. A half-acre plot of land has already been purchased. OA needs your support to continue helping these children.
